The solicitation was posted on November 21, 2025, with a proposal due date of December 9, 2025, and a mandatory site visit held on December 3, 2025, at the Pecos Las Vegas Ranger Station. Questions regarding the solicitation were due one week prior to closure, with responses provided through December 9, 2025, via three separate Q&A addenda addressing site logistics, utility coordination, and submission requirements.
This solicitation is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside. The estimated contract value ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000 on a firm-fixed price basis. The contract period of performance is 180 days, with an anticipated performance window from January 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, and contractors required to commence work within 5 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed. The project encompasses significant scope including pumping approximately 11,750 total gallons of waste across three locations, demolition work ranging from 80 to 635 square feet at various sites, installation of 6 vault toilets at Jacks Creek Campground, 1 at Links Tract, and 1 at Field Tract, asbestos abatement at Field Tract, and associated site preparation and restoration work. Performance will take place in Pecos, New Mexico 87552, with contractors responsible for providing their own water and equipment, coordinating with Mora-San Miguel Electric Coop for electrical line access, and managing complete campground closure during construction activities.
