The contract structure includes a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, spanning from September 30, 2025, to September 30, 2030, using firm fixed pricing. The estimated workload includes processing approximately 3,224 pounds of linen annually at Altus Air Force Base and various medical textiles across all facilities, including scrub uniforms, patient gowns, blankets, pillowcases, and specialized medical linens. Services will be performed at the primary location in Corpus Christi, Texas, with additional service points at the various military medical facilities. The government reserves the right to make an award without discussions, and contractors must maintain strict performance standards including 95% on-time delivery, zero contamination, and 98% inventory accuracy.

This solicitation for Consolidated Laundry and Linen Services are in support of Altus Air Force Base, OK and Naval Hospital Corpus Chrisit and its outlier locations in Fort Worth and Kingsville, Texas.   This is a follow-on procurement for both locations. 

The laundry and linen services requirements are detailed in the performance work statement (PWS) but include/are not limited to: pick-up (items and quantity documented), properly packed and handled, laundered, and delivered (items and quantity documented as well as individually bagged based on the item). The laundry facility and service to be provided must meet the same standards that would be required of a medical laundry facility on a DoD installation in accordance with (IAW) Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APlC) Text of Infection Control and Epidemiology 2005 (Section 103 Laundry, Linens and Textiles), Medical Group Instruction (MDGI) 44-106 Infection and Exposure Control Program, as well as infection control procedures set forth by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
