The Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service seeks quotations for replacement of a damaged condenser coil on a York air-cooled chiller at its Newark, Delaware facility, with quotes due August 31, 2026 at 9:00 AM PT. Work includes EPA-certified refrigerant recovery, removal of the leaking condenser coil, installation of an OEM-specification York replacement coil with nitrogen-purged brazing, replacement of filter drier cores (York P/N 026-43984-002 requiring two 48-size cartridges), nitrogen pressure testing, system evacuation to deep vacuum below 500 microns, vacuum hold testing, and commissioning with virgin R410A charging and operational baseline verification. Condenser coil piping is OD 3/8" and OD 7/8" copper tubing. All work must comply with EPA, OSHA, and local code requirements and include comprehensive documentation of lockout/tagout procedures, EPA refrigerant tracking, vacuum micron readings, and performance metrics.
