About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Procurement Office West is soliciting medical furniture and white glove installation services for the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System Auburn Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. The solicitation encompasses 20 line items including examination tables, barrier-free examination chairs, LED procedure lights, digital vital signs devices, workstations, stools, mobile carts, wall systems, and related medical equipment components with quantities ranging from 1 to 28 units per item. All products must meet or exceed salient characteristics specified in the technical specifications document, and contractors must obtain original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorization confirming that white glove installation can be performed by qualified third-party installers while maintaining equipment warranties. Award will be made to the responsible offeror providing the best value based on three evaluation criteria of descending importance: Technical Capability, Past Performance for Installation (evaluated through two current or prior contract references), and Price, with technical capability and past performance combined weighted equally to price. The offer deadline has been extended to March 25, 2026 at 9:00 AM Central Daylight Time, with quotes submitted via email to angela.kyte@va.gov and robert.clark15@va.gov.
This is an unrestricted procurement with no set-aside designation, and the solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractors or award value ranges. Delivery must be completed within 40 days after receipt of order, with a delivery window between March 24, 2026 and May 3, 2026 to Auburn, Washington 98001. The contractor must be registered under NAICS code 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) and maintain minimum insurance coverage including $500,000 general liability per occurrence, $200,000 per person automobile liability, and workers' compensation with $100,000 employer's liability coverage as required by state law. Required proposal submissions include a completed cost/price schedule, FAR 52.225-2 Buy American Certificate, manufacturer authorization documentation if not the OEM, OEM white glove installation authorization with warranty protection documentation, and two current or prior contract references. Payment will be made electronically upon receipt, inspection, acceptance, and installation of all equipment via Electronic Funds Transfer.
