About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center seeks contractors to decommission and remove two obsolete Computer Room Air Conditioning units from Building 3001, Annex G at Tinker Air Force Base, with proposals due September 1, 2026. This is a 100 percent Women-Owned Small Business set-aside under NAICS 236220.
Place of performance is Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The work includes removal of both CRAC units and architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural restoration of floor, wall, and ceiling systems to return the space to a safe, clean, and fully operational condition. A formal sampling report dated February 26, 2026 confirmed the equipment is free of Asbestos Containing Material, Lead-Based Paint, and Polychlorinated Biphenyls, eliminating hazardous material abatement requirements. All electrical work must be performed by state-licensed journeymen electricians. Work occurs during standard hours (0715–1600 Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays); any outside-hours work requires 48-hour advance written approval from the Contracting Officer. The contractor must erect hard-wall dust partitions and operate negative air machines with HEPA filtration for project duration and protect existing cubicles in place. The Government will provide carpet tiles and adhesive; the contractor installs only. The contractor must provide and install new ceiling tiles to match existing conditions.
The estimated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The contract is firm fixed-price with a mandatory 60-calendar-day completion period after notice to proceed and a 10-calendar-day mobilization requirement. Performance and payment bonds are required within 10 calendar days of award. Evaluation uses Lowest Price Technically Acceptable methodology, awarding to the lowest-priced proposal among at least two technically acceptable submissions. Davis-Bacon wage determinations and Buy American construction material provisions apply. An initial site visit occurred August 5, 2026. Amendment 0001, issued August 20, 2026, added consolidated RFI responses. The contracting points of contact are austin.elm@us.af.mil and sharla.flowers_brandon.1@us.af.mil.
