About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The determination covers multiple Colorado counties including Archuleta, Chaffee, Delta, Dolores, Fremont, Gunnison, Hinsdale, La Plata, Montezuma, Montrose, Ouray, San Juan, and San Miguel. Wage Determination No. 2015-5435, Revision 29, was last updated on December 3, 2025.
The document establishes prevailing wage rates for over 300 occupation classifications ranging from administrative and clerical positions to technical, health, automotive, and specialized trades occupations. Hourly rates vary significantly by occupation, from $13.89 for Messenger Courier to $59.82 for Nuclear Medicine Technologist. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits including health and welfare contributions ($5.55 per hour standard rate or $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706), vacation accrual based on service length (2 weeks after 1 year; 3 weeks after 5 years; 4 weeks after 15 years), and a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Computer professionals with specific duties, air traffic controllers and weather observers receive special pay adjustments for night and Sunday work. An 8 percent hazardous pay differential applies to ordnance, explosives, and incendiary material work, with a 4 percent differential for lower-hazard proximity work. Uniform allowances must be provided at no cost to employees or reimbursed at $3.35 per day. The determination includes a conformance process whereby unlisted occupations must be classified by the contractor with Department of Labor approval prior to contract performance.
