About this file

This is a DFARS clause document providing payment instruction requirements for the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system. The clause establishes the electronic invoicing procedures and operational guidelines that contractors must follow when submitting payment requests and receiving reports to the Department of Defense for the Medical & Dental Equipment Maintenance Service contract.

Contractors are required to register and maintain a designated electronic business point of contact in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov and register for WAWF access at https://wawf.eb.mil/. Payment requests must be submitted using the "Invoice as 2-in-1 (Services Only)" document type through one of three submission methods: web entry, Electronic Data Interchange, or File Transfer Protocol. The contractor must populate applicable WAWF fields with specific DoDAAC (Department of Defense Activity Address Code) information for routing, including the Pay Official DoDAAC in Block 18a, Issue By DoDAAC in Block 9, Admin DoDAAC in Block 9, and Service Acceptor DoDAAC in Block 15. Key invoicing restrictions include: do not invoice for line items marked as $0.00 or "Not Separately Priced," and only mark an invoice as FINAL when it is the last submission, as this will initiate contract closeout procedures. The WAWF point of contact for this contracting activity is ng.mn.mnarng.list.j8-wawf@army.mil, with additional support available through the WAWF helpdesk at 866-618-5988. Contractors are strongly encouraged to complete the Web-Based Training Course and access the Practice Training Site before submitting any payment requests.
