7. Detail A1, on drawing M503, calls for flexible elastomeric insulation (Armaflex) with .040 aluminum shop fabricated jacketing. Spec section 23.07.00 – 3.3.6.4 contradicts this detail calling for weatherproof mastic or roofing membrane. Neither the spec nor the detail indicates the insulation thickness required. Please clarify jacketing type, insulation type, and insulation thickness the outdoor ductwork serving DOAS 1 & 2.
A. Construct per detail on the drawings. Insulation thickness of 2".

A. HVAC equipment importance factor is 1.0.
12. In order to properly price the fall protection system, the subcontractor needs to know the distance from top of plane to beam. Please advise.
A. The aircraft tail height is approximately 14'-3" tall, and the fuselage is approximately 11'-0" tall. Contractor shall coordinate exact aircraft dimensions with user during fall protection system design. Fall restraint beam depth is determined by fall restraint system provider per spec section
11 01 50.
13. E-601-C & ES-101_C: What is the required transformer size for T-12? E-601-C states the transformer is 750 KVA. While ES-101-C States the Transformer is 1500KVA. Please advise.
A. Transformer shall be a 750 KVA Transformer as indicated on E-601-C.
