Section 0110, 1.05 for Preordered Equipment and Materials indicates contractor is to assume Owner purchase order including costs of equipment, materials, receiving, handling, storage and installation included in contract price: what is cost of the purchase orders and what is equipment and material to be handled; what is equipment and material to be installed, does equipment require supporting construction like blocking; should this be managed as a Government mandated allowance for all bidders, this allows Government flexibility on final product, cost, and installation; statement is made "renegotiate purchase" and "execute final purchase order" related to Government pre-ordered equipment and materials, what is meant by this.

Section 015100, 3.06, 2, c requires a phone line in watchman's office: explain where watchman's office is and who hires and pays for watchman salary; Section 015100, 3.06, 2 f requires a dedicated phone and fax in

Superintendent and Contracting Officer's trailer: will a CO trailer be required; how will phone, fax, internet be made available for contractor; How will this work and cost be managed; should this be an allowance.

048 1 Section 015200, 2.01 calls for a Government field office: will this be required on this campus; Section 015200, 2.01, C, 18 requires three computer workstations: is this to be provided for the Government or do they include the computer to be used by the Superintendent.

049 1 Section 015700 calls for an enclosure fence around project: however this is not on the drawings, please indicate where to be placed; Is it acceptable to use the existing fence.

050 1 Who hires and pays for the commissioning agent; if cost is carried by the contractor who was used in the design phase; confirm that all bidders are to use the agent used in the bid phase.

051 1 Drawing A-802 through A-805 indicate various pieces of equipment and furniture: are all units shown owner furnished and owner installed; if not indicate which pieces are supplied and/or installed by contractor.

052 1 Are there as-built drawings available for Hush House (Building 500), for the old hangar that no longer exists

(Building 499), and are foundation and underground utility drawings available.

Drawing S-300 note 1 comments on assumptions related to reaction from the pre-engineered metal buildings:

If assumptions are under designed, redesign of the foundation will be required; confirm the review of the reactions, comparisons to assumptions and redesign of foundation will be by the Engineer of Record and not by the Contractor or other third party engineer; if modifications are required to rebar size/quantity or concrete foundation size/quantity please confirm this will be addressed as a changed condition with selected bidder.

Provide specification for light reflective non-metallic shake-on floor hardener in schedule A-601; provide specification for the trench drains noted on S-106/note 9: are they to be cast in place or manufactured product; Detail G/S-302 appears to show a cast in place trench drain but can't find any information regarding dimensions, slab embedments, grating thickness, etc (also on M-117 as TD-A and TD-B); provide loading requirements for the second floor system (Areas B & C).

082 1 section 132800 for asbestos abatement includes work task data in Table 1, sheet 7 calls for transite wall panels to be abated from interior and exterior walls of 496; confirm this includes material exposed to view and transite wall panels buried under metal wall panels which were installed 5 years ago.

083 1 Have found that many subs and suppliers are just starting to look at project due to end of year and holiday issues and will be unable to bid project by January 20th; can bid be postponed 2 weeks to February 3rd.

Section 074113/2.02A/A and 3.03/A both mention installation of self-adhering underlayment onto roof sheathing. This is not part of Butler CMR-24 roof system and is typical for wood structure. Can reference to such be removed from specification; at site visit clarification was requested on what items would need to be salvaged from existing hangar during decon. Only item mentioned was door locksets. Section 024100 has extensive list of items to be salvaged and turned over to owner (see 024100/3.03/items E,I,J,K,L,M,N,Q,R,S, and T). Is spec accurate or are all demolished and decon materials to be property of Contractor.

Clarify which areas of exposed pipe insulation will require additional field applied aluminum jacketing; spec calls for .024" aluminum jacketing to be field applied over exposed 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" density fiberglass duct wrap insulation. This may not have sufficient compressive strength to support metal jacketing. Advise if metal jacketing will be required, where and how to be supported.

A-607 shows coiling fire shutter at head of type W12 windows. Provide specification for shutter and revise electric and alarm system drawings to show functionality of system; 36/A-606 shows rolling counter shutter.

Provide specification; Section 083500 describes sectional overhead doors yet they do not appear on door schedule. Are any doors to be provided under this spec section.

018113 commissioning indicates the Commissioning Authority shall be B&M and that contractor is to execute process as specified in each individual component spec. The noted spec state the contractor is to assist CA in process. Section 013329 LEED notes in 1.03 F that contractor is to contract with an independent CA to perform fundamental commissioning under EA Prerequisite 1. Clarify and confirm GOV will hire own CA and that contractor is to assist with process. Confirm contractor will not be responsible to pay for owner's CA nor hire their own; Section 013329 1.04 A 1 notes name of a LEED Accredited Professional shall be identified for each applicable credit in the LEED Implementation Plan. None of the credits listed below statement include requirement for a LEED AP. Confirm contractor will not be required to hire LEED AP. Confirm contractor will not be required to hire a LEED AP of their own.

Drawing P-111 compressed air reels are shown in hangar space at various elevations above finish floor. No detail has been provided on how to suspend these reels; Typical hose reel detail 3/P-502 shows filters and regulators at each hose reel, it is noted they will be 21'-6" to 54' AFFF, confirm this is the intended mounting height.

101 3 P-503 Water Entrance show 1/3 and 2/3 pressure reducing valves - total gpm flow at the entrance, water pressure into building, water pressure down stream of pressure reducing valves.

102 2 Detail 1/P-503 shows a low/high flow mixing valve assembly which tempers domestic hot water to 120 degrees F. Provide design data or a manufacturer and model number; floor plan at the water heaters drawing P-302 does not show mixing valve or any pipe sizes, clarify.

103 1 Since this is small business set-aside we ask GOV consider jobs valued at $5M for past performance.

107 2 Clarify if owner or contractor pays for utility monthly usage for Section 00100 item 10 states contractor is responsible and Section 015100 Temporary Utilities and Facilities paragraph 3.03 D.3, 3.04 D.3, 3.05 D.2 and

Clarify whether owner or contractor to provide testing of the following materials: Section 014400 paragraph 1.05, Section 03300 paragraph 3.0 field testing of concrete by contractor and lab testing of concrete by owner, Section 042000 paragraph 3.11 masonry, Section 051200 paragraph 1.04 steel testing; assume cost of testing paid by owner not to be included in offer, advise.

Sheet C-302 includes several construction details that refer to detail #15 yet detail #15 is noted as "Not used", provide clarification as to what sealant should be used at each concrete joint; Provide clarification for: section

321301 Field Molded Sealants for Sealing Joints in Rigid Pavements, where is material to be used, all details utilize a compression type sealant, is this material what should have been noted as being part of Detail #15 on

C-302.
