This document contains details for a federal contract opportunity to construct a new National Guard Readiness Center. The solicitation is being issued by the Department of the Army Michigan Army National Guard to design and build a 46,831 square foot facility to support training, administration, and logistical needs. The new readiness center must meet industry standards and local, state and federal building codes. It is to be designed for a minimum 50 year life span in accordance with DoD energy efficiency and sustainability requirements. The project scope includes utility infrastructure, information systems, fire protection, roads, parking lots, and other necessary site improvements. All work must adhere to Department of Defense antiterrorism standards for facilities. Through this project, the Army will dispose of an existing 52,153 square foot building in accordance with its real property reduction policies.
