PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project generally consists of installing approximately
2,688 feet of 15 inch diameter PVC truss gravity sanitary sewer and other appurtenant work in order to abandon an existing sanitary pump station and force main at Selfridge Air
National Guard Base Michigan. The work includes but not limited to tapping into an existing sewer at the north end of the project and constructing approximately 13 sanitary manholes along the alignment. Two metering manholes are also included in the work with one being for future installation of the metering facility and one to be constructed with the required metering and sampling equipment, protective shelter with required electrical equipment and electrical service.
The projects magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Small
Business concerns will not be considered. For Small Business information please see http://www.sba.gov/. The following NAICS code 237110 will apply with the Small
Business Size Standard of $36.5 Million. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract.
The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W912JB-19-B-5001 information will be advertised electronically on or about 4 February 2019 at https://www.fbo.gov/ with an anticipated award date of 21 March 2019. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the
Government considering only price and price related factors.
This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and http://www.sba.gov/ https://www.fbo.gov/ will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. All interested parties must be registered in System for Award management (SAM) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-

3 weeks and requires a DUNS number, so it is highly recommended that interested parties register immediately in order to avoid any delays in award. No facsimile proposals will be considered. Contractors shall be fully qualified in all aspects of the requirements to be considered. The Government contemplates a basic contract period tentatively commencing on 21 March 2019 through 21 December 2019.
