About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for dredging services at two harbors in Hawaii. The amendment extends the proposal due date to January 6, 2022 and provides responses to three questions from potential offerors. The solicitation is for maintenance dredging at Kaunakakai Harbor on Molokai and Kahului Harbor on Maui to restore authorized depths, estimated to remove 35,000 cubic yards and 158,000 cubic yards of material respectively. Offerors must have experience with dredging projects between $5-10 million in value. The Army Corps of Engineers intends this to be a small business set-aside under NAICS 237990, requiring a minimum of 40% self-performance by small businesses. The period of performance is estimated at 18 months to complete both projects, which may have optional quantities less than the total 193,000 cubic yards estimated.
