"Doors, Frames and Hardware to comply with blast standards as determined by UFC 4- 010-01 and small/large missile impact approvals". When blast UFC 4-010-01 is mentioned on a project, additional information is needed to get a quote to include project PSF level or the standoff distance plus the charge weight in order for manufacturer to calculate the proper PSF level. Please advise if blast is needed on this project or only ballistic rated material
Answer 6: No blast rating is required on exterior building hardware. Ballistic rated requirements are in SECTION 08 34 02.

We request the period of performance be increased to a minimum of 15 months or 450 days.
