REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) #1

13 August 2021

1. Question regarding E-sheets and division 26 of the specifications.. See Amendment #01 to replace E.6 with E0.6-R1:

Question A: What size kVA cable is needed?

Answer: (3) 2 AWG AL, 15KV, 133% EPR, Type MV-105. Refer to details on revised sheet E0.6.

Question B: There is not a detail showing the pole hardware at the new dip pole. Please advise.

Answer: Refer to details on revised sheet E0.6.

Question C: Will 6” be needed on the bore for the primary, or will 4” be sufficient?

Answer: 4” is sufficient. Refer to details on revised sheet E0.6.

Question D: Do you want a spare conduit bored out to the pole?

Answer D: NO

2. Question: The small arms range equipment is specified in Section 11 67 23 of the specifications. Most suppliers advised that delivery in 90 to 120 calendar days with significant time required for installation and system testing. A period of performance of 365 calendar days is insufficient. We request the period of performance be increased to a minimum of 15 months or 450 days.

Answer 2: We are aware of the volatility of the construction market and related lead times.

We believe even with a 90-day delivery, the period of performance of 365 calendar days shall remain during the bid process.

REMINDER:
