#44 67 Addendum to FAR
Provision 52.212-1, ITO, Paragraph 1.m., Amendment 0004, Conformed
May graphics and tables be produced using a smaller font size than 12 point? We recommend not less than 9 point for tables and
8 point for graphics.
Yes, as long as the font used for tables, charts, graphs and figures is able to “depict” the information in an “uncomplicated, legible” manner. This reduction in font only applies to tables, charts, graphs, and figures.
#45 80 N/A The train-the-trainer program requires materials that are supplemental to the COTS.
We would like to propose and price a new
CLIN focused on delivering the necessary packages to support the requirement. Will that be OK?
Yes, offerors are allowed to propose alternative line item structures in accordance with
DFARS Clause 252.204-7011 Alternative Line-Item Structure, Page 80 of Amendment
0004 (Conformed).
#46 51 and
PWS 3.1.1, 5.1.3, and
5.1.3.2
Can you shed any light on the degree of customization the Government will demand?
The level of customization will impact our cost and, subsequently, the price to the government.
In accordance with PWS:
3.1.1: The government will provide, NLT seven days after contract award, select Army
Medicine regulations, policies, and other information necessary to incorporate Army
Medicine specific terminology and examples. This information will support the customization of the COTS self-awareness model and supplies.
5.1.3: COTS Customization. The contractor shall customize and update its COTS self-awareness model to incorporate terminology and examples that capture the culture and working environment of AMEDD. The customized COTS shall support self-awareness training sessions.
5.1.3.2. Updates. The contractor shall update its customized COTS model in accordance with commercial practice, to keep it current and relevant, and to keep the content and philosophies in line with other items commercially available from the contractor.
Customized COTS updates shall also include new AMEDD-specific doctrine, terminology and examples as provided by the COR. The contractor shall notify the
COR of such updates NLT 45 days in advance.
