Statement of Work Summary
This Statement of Work details calibration and temperature mapping services required by the Food Analysis and Diagnostic Laboratory (FADL) located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The contractor must possess ISO 17025:2017 accreditation for calibration services and maintain the ability to perform both onsite and offsite calibration, temperature mapping, and repair services. All deliverables must comply with ISO 17025:2017 and American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) standards, including detailed calibration reports specifying pass/fail status, measurement uncertainties, correction factors, data points, and uniformity maps demonstrating required traceability.
The onsite services at FADL's location must be scheduled within four weeks of notification and completed within four working days, with clearly stated costs per visit. The contractor is responsible for calibrating up to 80 pipette channels per onsite visit (560 total annual channels), up to 4 reference thermometers, up to 25 analytical balances annually, and up to 3 autoclaves with temperature mapping. FADL provides workspace, environmental conditions, and expendable supplies for onsite work. The contractor performs offsite calibration and repairs at their own facility. All final accredited calibration reports must be submitted to the designated Government Acceptor and Contracting Officer's Representative within five calendar days of service completion.

Ability to perform accredited offsite calibration and repair according to ISO 17025:2017;
Ability to provide a detailed calibration report specifying the "pass"/"fail" status of equipment, measurement of uncertainties, correction factors for thermometers, data points, uniformity maps, and other information required under ISO 17025:2017 and demonstrating traceability required by ISO 17025:2017.
2. The Contractor shall work at the location of Food Analysis and Diagnostic Laboratory (FADL), 2899 Schofield Road, Building 2630, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234 for the onsite calibration and temperature mapping requirements. The Contractor shall work at their own facility for offsite calibration, temperature mapping, and repairs.
3. For in-house on-site calibration and temperature mapping, the vendor must be able to schedule the calibration service with the customer within four (4) weeks of notification by the FADL designated point of contact, AND complete the calibration in no more than four (4) working days. Contractor shall clearly state the cost for each on-site visit.
4. Provide accredited onsite calibration services for up to eighty (80) per on-site visit, fixed, variable, single, or multi-channel manual or electronic pipettes during semiannual on-site visits upon request for all pipettes as required by FADL to meet its current accreditation body requirements. A grand total of up to 560 pipette channel calibrations for the FY27 year. FADL is responsible for providing appropriate working space and environmental conditions required to perform the calibration.
Similarly, FADL will supply expendables, such as pipet tips, associated with calibration when conducted onsite.
5. Provide accredited onsite calibration services for up to four (4) reference thermometers during onsite visits upon request as required by FADL to meet its current accreditation body requirements. FADL is responsible for providing appropriate working space and environmental conditions required to perform the calibration.
6. Provide accredited calibration for up to twenty-five (25) analytical balances once annually upon request for all balances as required by FADL to meet its current accreditation body requirements. FADL is responsible for providing appropriate working space and environmental conditions required to perform the calibration if performed on site.
7. Provide accredited calibration and temperature mapping for up to three (3) autoclaves during onsite visits upon request as required by FADL to meet its current accreditation body requirements. FADL is responsible for providing appropriate working space and environmental conditions required to perform the calibration and temperature mapping.
8. Provide a copy of final accredited calibration report(s) acceptable to the designated FADL Government Acceptor and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within 5 (five) calendar days of completion after each individual service visit.
