About this file
This document is a request for proposal for the manufacture of airframe modification kits. The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal is seeking proposals from small businesses located in the Huntsville-Decatur-Albertville Combined Statistical Area to manufacture wiring harnesses, mechanical brackets, and kit components for advanced sight and display computer collectors, encryptable aircraft wireless intercom system collectors, and aviation information systems collectors. Proposals are due by November 16, 2020 and must be submitted electronically to the listed contracting officers. The airframe modification kits will provide installation components for Air Soldier System line replaceable units to be used on rotary wing aircraft over the next five years. Manufacturers must employ a quality system meeting ANSI/ASQ/ISO 9001 and capability in fabrication of electrical/electronic assemblies per specified standards. The request for proposal includes instructions for submitting technical data packages representative of the kit configurations to be included with proposals.

Questions 1 & 2:
1. The following PNs all reference Attachment 10- 1052502 in the Index suggesting that the kits are exactly the same. Being that these kits are for different aircraft, we would expect at least some of these kits to be different. Please clarify.
1052502-10 1052506-10 1052508-10 1052512-10 1052510-10 1052514-10

USG Response:
Some of the A-kits use the same TDP for the bidding. Although a CLIN may be associated with a different aircraft platform, the TDPs are similar enough for bidding purposes. The Attachment 1 TDP Index has been updated with a column to show which part number within a TDP to use for bidding a specific CLIN.
Question 3:
Please confirm that the govt only needs pricing for qty 1 per ordering period for each of the PCA CLINs.
Yes, only bid qty one PCA per ordering period for each of the PCAs CLINs.

USG Response:
Section A should be 1032 PCA AIS AH-64E
Section B CLIN 1032 PCA AIS AH-64E is correct.
