Industry Question:
In attachment 10 on drawing 1052466 AIP Assembly, the switch is not identified. Please advise.
USG Response:
The switch is identified as P/N: NASM91528-1UB4.
Industry Question:
In Attachment 6, part numbers WTG00031-001 and WTG00032-001 contain an obsolete part according to the manufacturer of the part number listed. FN5 111028-0300 is obsolete, with no replacement. Please advise.
USG Response:
The answer to this question was provided on 5 Nov per Email Question on wiring harness components. The answer repeated below applies to AI question above:
Reference Section C 3.1.f &g. These cables have been accounted for and are not required to be provided by the contractor.
Section C.3.1.f
f. For HH-60M AWIS Kit part number (p/n) WTG00083-001, the contractor shall not purchase the Fill Cables WTG00032-001 & WTG00173-001.
g. For CH-47F AWIS kit p/n WTG00093-001, the contractor shall not provide Fill Cables WTG00031-001 and WTG00032-001.
Furthermore, Section C. 3.3.2 GFE/GFM/GFI Items provides information on GFE.
Section C.3.3.2 a.&b:
The US Government will provide the following items as GFE/GFI for A-kit manufacture:
a. For HH-60M AWIS kit p/n WTG00151-001, the US Government will provide Fill Cables p/n WTG00032- 001 and p/n WTG00173-001.
b. For CH-47F AWIS kit p/n WTG00093-001, no GFE cables will be provided. The kits will not include WTG00031-001 and WTG0032-001.
Industry Question:
Order density: with reference to storage and warehousing, what would be the amount of kits required to be stored at one time and average length of time on a monthly basis. We are seeking this information for proposal planning and pricing purposes. Suggest that the government provide a “plug number” to eliminate assumption/perceived risk.
USG Response:
The USG cannot provide an average storage quantity or length of time as the contractor may request DCMA inspection and acceptance as soon as kits are ready for delivery. Items are typically shipped within a week of acceptance by USG. PM AW has a local storage/staging warehouse that delivered kits will be stored in prior to fielding.
Industry Question:
Can the government provided drawing trees for WTG000156, WTG00040-001 and WTG00091?
USG Response: There are no drawing trees available for WTG000156, WTG00040-001 and
WTG00091.
