A.1 Background and Description of Action.

A.1.1 Executive Overview & Objectives.

The Product Directorate (PD) of Army Watercraft Systems (AWS) requires System Technical Support (STS) services to the current fleet of vessels within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The PD AWS Performance Work

The contractor shall provide the qualified personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the services as defined in this PWS, except for those items specified as Government Furnished Property, Equipment, or Services.

A.1.2 Program Office Background.

PD AWS serves as the Life Cycle Manager for AWS, primarily categorized as follows:

- Landing Craft: Logistics Support Vessel (LSV), Landing Craft Utility (LCU-2000), Landing Craft

Mechanized (LCM-8) Mod I, Maneuver Support Vessel (Light) MSV(L)

- Ship-to-shore enablers: Modular Causeway System (MCS)

- Towing and terminal operations: Small Tug (ST-900), and
