Updated 05 April 2018
ATPD-2414B Paragraph 3.6.2. This language supersedes paragraph 3.6.2, Reliability, of Attachment 0001, ATPD-2414B. The trailer shall be required to demonstrate a reliability of 90% probability of completing a 130 mile mission without a system abort. It is desired that the trailer demonstrate a reliability of 98% probability of completing a 130 mile mission without a system abort. Reliability shall be demonstrated in accordance with the OMS/MP (see 3.6 of the ATPD) and failure definition/scoring criteria (FD/SC) (see 4.4.2 of the ATPD). The trailer shall have a durability of 6,000 miles.
ATPD-2414B Paragraph 3.6.5. This language supersedes paragraph 3.6.5, Ride Quality, of Attachment 0001, ATPD-2414B. The LEUT Type II tested unloaded and loaded with BHL with armor, weighing at least 9852.03 kg (21,720 lb) and an assumed center of gravity (CG) height of
110.24 cm (43.4 inches) above the bed shall be able to meet the required and desired speeds specified in Table V, of the ATPD, with little or no ill effect to the trailer or payload and not exceeding 6 Watts absorbed power in the vertical direction measured at the longitudinal/lateral CG at the trailer frame of the unloaded or loaded trailer (see 4.4.5 of the ATPD).
ATPD-2414B Paragraph 3.9a. This language supersedes paragraph 3.9a of Attachment 0001, ATPD-2414B. The payload platform area shall be sufficient to accommodate all the possible payloads listed in Table I along with the associated chains and binders required to tie down the equipment. The payload platform area plus any usable tail area shall contain the full length of all equipment and shall be no greater than 7.37 meters (737 cm or 290 inches) horizontally.
ATPD-2414B Paragraph 3.13.1.1. This language supersedes paragraph 3.13.1.1, Runflats, of Attachment 0001, ATPD-2414B. A desired objective is for runflats inside all tire and wheel assemblies including spare. If runflats are included the trailer shall be able to maintain full mobility for no less than 48.3 km (30 miles) after complete loss of air pressure in any or all tires on same side for both a fully loaded and unloaded trailer over operational mode/mission profile terrain at the following distances and speeds: (primary: 9.7 km (6 miles) at 48.3 kph (30 mph), secondary: 24.1 km (15 miles) at 33.8 kph (21 mph), trails/cross country: 14.5 km (9 miles) at
14.5 kph (9 mph)). If runflats are included they shall not damage the tire over operational mode/mission profile terrain and when trailer is run over a 20.32 cm (8 inch) curb (see 4.11.1.1).
