About this file
This document contains two non-disclosure agreements related to enhanced performance rounds and the associated federal contract opportunity on the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.
The non-disclosure agreements require any company or employee with access to information on enhanced performance rounds to only use the ammunition for its intended purpose, not sell or distribute the ammunition or components, adopt security measures to prevent unauthorized access, and agree not to reverse engineer or disassemble the bullets. Any unauthorized disclosure of information would subject the recipient to administrative, civil or criminal penalties.
The federal contract opportunity is to issue a request for proposal to operate, maintain and modernize the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant from 2020 to 2029. The plant produces small caliber ammunition. The award will be for a firm-fixed-price production contract with a base period and optional ordering periods, as well as an award term provision. The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island intends to use a best value tradeoff process to select a single contractor to operate the facility.
