About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) Log for federal contract opportunity 512, dated July 30, 2026.
The document contains five submitted questions with responses from the contracting office. Question 1 requests a model number for a cypher lock and receives a detailed specification requiring Best Lock compatibility with a programmable keypad, lever handle on the exterior, and panic bar with hex key on the interior, with a reference photo provided. Questions 2 through 5 address technical clarifications regarding Statement of Work Option 2 requirements for exterior storefront doors and blast ratings, staffing questions about whether the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), Cost Quality Control (CQC), and Site Superintendent can be consolidated into one person, verification of tuckpointing and repainting square footage calculations for Building 512's exterior CMU walls, and clarification on whether aluminum storefront doors should be anodized or painted to match base standard alongside hollow metal doors. Four of the five questions (2 through 5) are marked "Awaiting Engineering Response," indicating the contracting office had not yet provided final answers at the time of this Q&A log publication.
