W50S97-25-B-A002 Construct Network Control Center Questions and Answers 35-42
35. Per the patch panel schedule, it shows category cable to be in the patch panels including spares; Can you reference the drawings that show the data drop locations? (Section/sheet IT5.1) The Drawings indicate four distinct types of Data drops. Refer to Comm Legend Sheet IT4.3. The four types include:
1. Information Outlet., See Detail H9 sheet IT4.3
2. Structured AV Outlet., See Detail H5 sheet IT4.3
3. Secure Information Outlet., See Detail L9 sheet IT4.3
4. Secure Structured AV Outlet., See Detail L5 sheet IT4.3
The Comm Legend as well as the details listed above refer to the Four Symbol types.
See Sheet IT2.1 for the symbol locations. Reference Sheet IT2.1. A1 Floor Plan – Information Technologies. All four symbol types are clearly located in relation to the building floor plan.
Adjacent to each symbol are multiple cable identification reference numbers. Those numbers indicate the cable termination locations.
First two digits refer to corresponding Comm Room. In this case for building 818 the comm room 01 is NCC 104.
The next three digits refer corresponding rack, Next digit Refers to the patch panel in that rack, and the final digits refer to the port number of the termination patch panel.
36. Per the backbone feeder diagram, there shows to be fiber and copper going from existing building 801 to the new building 818; Can you reference the drawings that show pathway to existing building 801 as well as path inside existing building 801 room 148? (Section/Sheet IT4.3) Refer to Drawing E1.1 revised in Addendum #1 dated 7/17/25, for raceway routing to and inside Building 801.
37. Per the div 27 specs there is not a part number call out for the racks to be provided;
What is the preferred manufacturer for the racks to be provided? Any manufacturer that meets or exceeds the requirements listed on the Drawings and Specifications may be considered. The design basis is indicated in both the IT drawings and specs.

38. Per the div 27 specs there is not a part number call out for the cat6a to be provided;
What is the preferred manufacturer for the cat6a to be provided? Any Manufacturer that meets or exceeds the requirements listed on the Drawings and Specifications may be considered. For Design Basis, Refer to Specification Section 27 01 00 Part
1.6 Item “A”.
39. Per the div 27 specs there is not a part number call out for the fiber to be provided;
What is the preferred manufacturer for the fiber to be provided? Any Manufacturer that meets or exceeds the requirements listed on the Drawings and Specifications may be considered. For Design Basis, Refer to Specification Section 27 01 00 Part
1.6 Item “B”.
40. Per the drawings there is 12" basket tray and 18" basket tray; Who is responsible for that? Will that be EC/others? (Section/Sheet IT2.1) Division of scope among subcontractors is the Bidder’s responsibility.
41. Per the drawings there is 12" ladder tray; Who is responsible for that? Will that be EC/others? (Section/Sheet IT2.1) Division of scope among subcontractors is the Bidder’s responsibility.
42. Due to no drawings for the data drops; Will there be any WAPs or Cameras? If so please provide those drawings. (Section/Sheet IT5.1) IT drawings clearly identify all data drops included. Refer to Sheet IT2.1 and Question #36 Response above; For data drop types and Locations. “WAPs and Cameras” Refer to additional types of data drops not included in this project.
