VA Introduces a Digital Version of the VA Form 10091, VA-FSC Vendor File Request Form On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, the Financial Services Center (FSC) introduced a digital version of the VA Form 10091 (VA-FSC Vendor File Request Form) that is available through the FSC’s Customer Engagement Portal (CEP).
The initiative modernizes the VA’s existing paper/fax process with a digital version of VA Form 10091 tailored for external payees. Please note that vendors must first register with https://www.id.me/ to take advantage of the new digital VA Form 10091 at https://www.id.me/ , which is a simple and secure identity verification system. Once a vendor has registered with ID.me, vendors can access the digital form through VA's CEP at http://www.cep.fsc.va.gov/. Non-System of Award Management (SAM) vendor access in CEP is limited to only the digital VA Form 10091.
The PDF/paper version of the VA Form 10091 will still be available at https://www.va.gov/find-forms/about-form-10091/ and vendors will still be able to download and fax forms to the FSC through September 30, 2023. During this time, the FSC will continue introducing additional functionality to enhance the vendorization process and improve the customer experience.
The benefits of using the digital form are:
· Additional security through ID.me
· Faster intake for processing
· Ability to track the status of your VA Form 10091
· A fax machine is not required
· Eliminates the need to download and fax the pdf/paper version of the form
· Improved accuracy - Fewer returns of the VA Form 10091 back to the vendor due to illegible handwriting or a blurry fax
· Fewer mistakes to the vendor file due to transposing numbers at intake
The digital form does not change how and when the VA Form 10091 is used. Instead, it provides our customers another method to complete the vendorization process if the user is registered through ID.me.
If VA employees have questions about the digital form or this message, please contact the Station Customer Care Center at 1-866-372-1141. If vendors have questions, please direct them to the VA Customer Care Center at 1-877-353-9791 or vafsccshd@va.gov.
PLEASE PRODUCE LOCALLY FOR ALL THOSE WHO DO NOT ROUTINELY ACCESS EMAIL DUE TO THEIR SPECIALTIES.
