For the month of APRIL 2023, 14 CDRL items were delivered. Support included

Warfighter Exercises (WFXs) 23-4, 23-5, 24-2, and FS-23.

Current Status: The last collective planning event is complete so additional coordination for this exercise continues via email and telephone calls. This exercise will be conducted over the Mission Partner Environment (MPE). All exercise HICOM

A small contingent of Observer-Coach / Trainers and two NGSC Analysts will deploy to Kaiserslautern, Germany to provide observation and feedback to the 21st Theater Support Command (TSC). The OGA is coordinating to conduct a site survey at Fort Knox, Kentucky prior to the deployment of the ADVON.

Avenger Triad 24 (AvT-24) (USAREUR-AF). OPSGRP A supports US V Corps at Grafenwoehr, DEU. Exercise POC:

AvT-24 IPC Grafenwoehr, DEU 26-30 JUN 23 AvT-24 MPC Grafenwoehr, DEU 15-19 APR 24 AvT-24 SS Grafenwoehr, DEU TBD AvT-24 FPC Grafenwoehr, DEU 8-12 JUL 24 AvT-24 Grafenwoehr, DEU 10-19 SEP 24 Current Status: Exercise AvT-24 is a multi-corps, multinational, multi-domain, (M3) command post exercise (CPX). The exercise was formerly known as Defender Europe (DE) M3 CPX, and that designation is still seen on some briefing products. AvT-24 is designed to deter adversaries through exercising Large Scale Ground Combat Operations (LSGCO) and associated Mission Essential Tasks (METs), increasing scale, capability, and interoperability of Allied and partner forces, and strengthening the Alliance in United States Army Europe and Africa’s Area of Operation. Exercise classification will likely be Secret Releasable to USA, NATO, SWE, FIN. The exercise will be conducted in the Mission Partner Environment (MPE). OGA’s Training Audiences (TAs) will be US V Corps, and possibly 56 Artillery Command. The OPT schedule will be every four weeks initially.

Issues: Planners need to confirm whether 56 Artillery Command, identified as a TA, will also be supported by OGA.

The USARCENT was represented by Mr. Timothy Marzano. USCENTCOM was represented by Mr. Robert Linschoten and LTCOL Trevor Wilk. The MCTP is on azimuth to support

USARCENT.

Current Status: Military will support 42ID’s CPX 2 and will derive further understanding of the setup and challenges at FIGPA prior to WFX 23-5.

Issues:

• Final ECG size and the impact on the SCP is TBD but adequate space exists for all COAs.

• Work/Response Cells are distributed to four separate buildings. This will add friction to command and control of the WC/RCs. This may change in early May pending the number of MCTP Staff (i.e. ECG) forward.

Current Status: The current COA is to house all contractors in off post hotels.

Transportation plan for movement on post and to the MTC is TBD Issues:

• There is consideration of positioning the ECG at FLKS rather than forward. This COA will have impacts on the SCP, lodging, and the transportation plan.

• Currently, 19 ESC is not a training audience. OG-C will provide coverage under OG- B if needed. No analyst support is required as of this date.

• The cancelation of WFX 24-1 creates the possibility of OG-B supporting WFX 24-2 (2ID) CPX 3 from 25 SEP-3 OCT 23. MCTP must define desired contractor deliverables to determine the analyst and equipment required to execute CPX 3. If contractors support CPX 3 we will deploy and return to FLKS and then redeploy to support the WFX.

• Data Visualization Team (DVT)

- After Action Review System (AARS) System Administrators (Archer) o Provided support to III Armored Corps CPX 3 and WFX 23-4 working with

Multinational Partners.

o Continued support preparation for WFXs 23-5 and 24-2.

o Continued planning support for VR-23 in Camp Atterbury, IN and DEF 23

CPX in Ft. Knox, KY.

- Virtual Three-Dimensional (V3D) Map and Command Information Center

(CIC)

o Provided support to III Armored Corps CPX 3 and WFX 23-4 working with

Multinational Partners.

o Conducted 100% inventory and Pre-Deployment Checks on equipment, in preparation for WFX 23-4.

o Participated in Teams meetings for upcoming WFXs 23-5 and 24-2.

o Continued to Modify VTC equipment integration for AARs.

o Continued preparation for support to WFXs 23-5 and 24-2.

- Innovations Team o Continued Innovations Control Board (ICB) “Roadshows” to determine requirements, refine programming initiatives, and coordinate with customers from each line operations group.

o Continued development and work on NGSC Initiatives, Research and

Development project. Specifically, completed the Agile Backlog Tracker for March, completed the Virtual MDO/Kiosk Architecture, reviewed, and submitted the V3D Kiosk System Design Documents, prepared for the IRAD MDO/Kiosk demo at WFX 23-4 at Ft. Hood, and conducted several MDO Tests with JED Cell at FLKS.

o Continued RID and Crosshair innovations work.

o Received back generally positive SCA-V RMF audit report; continued work on identified issues moving forward.

o Extensive work on Innovations operations and processes documentation to fulfill RMF documentation requirements.

o Supported WFX 23-4 as necessary. Specifically, worked on RID issues related to misconfiguration by operators, bad data input from HST/WCOPFOR, and duplicate data entry into WARSIM Oracle database;

also conducted extensive work on helping to diagnose issues with WARSIM Oracle o ICW V3 MDO engineer, conducted Test Event 1 and 2 during WFX 23-4 of

Multi Domain Operational capacity. Test was successful overall with several areas of refinement identified.

• Digital Support Team (DST):

- C4I Engineers acquired updated image for WFX 23-5 and downloaded new drivers and applications to start verification for WFX support at Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA.

- C4I Engineers provided common services server, COP and ECC support for WFX 23-4 in preparation for work cell training and CPX 3 (RRE 3).

- C4I supported WFX 23-5 with ECC clients and common services for the MCTP Ops Groups and staff.

- Fires and MCA supported ICI testing ICW CPX 3 (RRE 3) with AFATADS database build for UK units and NATO allies.

• Fort Leavenworth Support Team (FLST):

− continued to work with MCTP OPS groups and teams to complete future planning for WFXs and training events. Participated in WARSIM v9.0 meetings and RFIs. Became the main LNO for regarding Cross Domain Solution (CDS) fielding and training at MCTP. Execution of WFX 23-4 (CPX and WFX). Updated and distributed 23-4, 23-5 draft Tech Timelines and Critical Paths. Participated in TST manager meetings. Updated exercise and rig usage calendars based off most recent Exercise Life Cycles, ORE IPRs, and CDS fielding discussions. Supported WFX 23-4 as FLST TST lead. Coordinated with RSC facility manager for cleaning support during WFXs. Prepared an updated RIG Usage calendar for TST Team Lead and CIO.

Analyzing FY24 Protection MTOE’s and building FY24 Foundational Protection, BLUEAIR and BLUEFLEET databases. Publishing updates to Forward Unit Database Annex of the SGen Scenario Database SOP. Completed all required mandatory NGSC and MCTP online training through LX and Army training websites. Provided forward database support for Multinational Partner (UK) for WFX23-4. Documented modifications to the Multinational Partner portions of the WFX database for use in upcoming Multinational Partner WFX event. Continued training WFX23-5 rear support and for WFX forward support.

Analyzed terrain data provided by KBSC determining that it would not meet the expectations of MCTP for a WFX. Started Producing a Korea terrain for WFX 24-2 using data has edited. Working with TPO-C and to develop future terrains for USARPAC Exercises. Continuing working on UKRAINE/BALTIC/EASTERN EUROPE/ASIA region of the Terrain for future WFXs. Attended weekly JLCCTC Community Teleconference and bi-weekly JLCCTC Data Working Group over MS Teams.

− : Parametrics: Supporting WFX 23-4 for Parametrics. Working with SST, SIM SPECs, Sr Control and EXCON to build and test experimental platforms in WARSIM for WFX23-4. Assisted production of a new Revised Foundational PDS and PDS for WFX23-5. Continuing Krahenbuhl training in the Parametric Database Manager and SGEN software.

Assisting Mr. Randy Krahenbuhl with modification and republishing edits that had been approved by MODS and SIMS. Troubleshooting simulation issues with PDS during WFX23-4.

- The FLST-ISS COMMs members ( ) monitored, maintained, and provided troubleshooting of the communications lines to deliver intelligence product via the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) to Enhanced Communications Gateway Server (ECGS). Established connections to the 513th MIBN at Fort Gordon, GA, 1st Cavalry Division, 1st Armored Division, and III Armored Corps at Fort Hood, TX.

• Forward Support Team (FST):

− WARSIM Engineers have completed all Tech Control Forward Suites (TCF) with the Anti-Virus Updates as required throughout the WFX to ensure we are following compliance guidance.

o Completed the ESMD for WFX 23-5 to reduce the amount of time employees are on site, while saving the company money during the process.

o Initiated planning and review of the Simulation Control Plans for WFX 23-5.

Submitted the estimate for cables, printer cartridges, and other supply requirements as necessary.

o Coordinated with the Technical Support Team at Fort Leavenworth, to ship and use a Virtual TCF for WFX 23-5.

o Completed multiple planning meetings with KCSB for WFX 24-2 in Korea for support.

o Team worked on training required to help support the WFX in Korea.

o Continued to support WFX 23-4 at 4 Forward sites, Fort Hood, Fort Bliss, Fort

Riley, and Fort Bragg respectively.
