• Finish floor elevaon shall be 4” above natural grade measured at the front (entrance) of the exterior slab, to transion smoothly into the new sidewalk between the parking lot and toilet building. The back of the building should be slightly higher to allow water to freely drain out of the toilet rooms.

o Obtain CO approval of the bedding surface grade / slope prior to seng the vault.
C. Backfill
• Set vault in place and check for level, or ideally one percent slope from back to front of the building.
• Once proper level is achieved, backfill around the structure using excavated material that meets requirements.
• Backfill shall be placed in 8-inch thick (loose measurement) lis and compacted with a minimum of two passes of an approved vibratory compactor.
