About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation (Request for Proposals) for the Riverside Fire Recreation Site Repairs project on the Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon. The amendment provides responses to questions asked during a pre-bid site visit and makes changes to the Statement of Work, including revisions to the asphalt removal and road resurfacing requirements at the Ripplebrook and Riverside Campgrounds.

The key changes include: pulverizing existing asphalt in place rather than removing it, adding sediment wattle installation, clarifying disposal requirements for woody debris, and updating accessibility requirements. The amendment also extends the solicitation closing date to May 3, 2024. The total estimated project value is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work is to be performed between May 20 and October 18, 2024 at four campground locations along Highway 224.
