About this file
This document is an Amendment to Solicitation 12363N24R0001 for the Riverside Fire Recreation Site Repairs project. The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions asked by vendors after a pre-bid tour. The solicitation is for the repair and restoration work at four campgrounds along the Clackamas River Corridor in the Mt. Hood National Forest that were damaged in the 2020 Riverside Fire. The project scope includes general road and grounds maintenance and replacement of visitor amenities to safely reopen the campgrounds to the public. The period of performance is from May 20, 2024 to October 18, 2024. The government cost estimate for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This amendment does not extend the solicitation deadline, and it references an addendum with the full questions and answers from vendors.

Vendors may price and submit on the best terms possible. Refer to Section M of the solicitation for more information on price for this opportunity.
Q: Contractor is thinking they will need to remove some trees or canopy around the Riverford CG bathroom to install the new CXT, and wants to know how much is acceptable and if we will mark the trees out?
A: Trees are not marked prior to award of the Contract. Other offerors may have alternate methods to install with tree removal. Issue will be considered post award. Contractor will need to work with Forest Service COR once operations begin to select and request approval on which trees will be authorized for falling. Tree removal may be proposed in proposed technical approach work schedule description.
