1. electronic facilities and maintenance system (EFEMS)
EFEMS is a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) use to perform industrial plant facility and capital equipment management. The E-FEMs database contains over 1,000,000 tracked work orders, which range from repairs to mobile, production, and facilities equipment, to work center and office renovations, including capital equipment installations and construction projects.
2. Enterprise safety application management system (esams) ESAMS is an online risk management information system that provides a mechanism for the reporting of safety related issues to include: mishaps, unsafe working conditions and unhealthy working conditions. Access is restricted to organizational personnel and serves to reduce the redundancy of re-entering data from paper copies.
3. enterprise business system (EBS) property accountability system
The EBS Property Accountability System is used by the Government to account for GE assigned to the Contractor. The Contractor will not have access to this system but the Government will provide copies of the hand receipt records to assist the Contractor with inventories and location reconciliations.
4. DEFENSE PROPERTY ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEM (DPAS)
DPAS is DLA’s Fleet Management Information System (FMIS), its functions include maintenance management which encompass preventative maintenance planning and tracking unscheduled maintenance, asset management for right sizing the fleet, capturing and reporting fuel consumption, Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (FAST) reporting, utilization data capturing, asset dispatching, and historical record keeping. The equipment managed includes automotive, mobile Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and installed Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS). DPAS prints work orders to identify preventative and corrective maintenance actions. In addition, DPAS prints the vehicle dispatch form to track equipment utilization and chain of custody.
5. FEDERAL LOGISTICS INFORMATION SYSTEM (FLIS)
FLIS is a logistics database providing information for the military services, civilian agencies, Contractors, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries, and other friendly governments. FLIS contains information about manufacturers, item characteristics, item logistics, management, transportation, packaging, and use for specific items. When DSS records are incomplete, FLIS is used to obtain item data elements in the local and global data element file or to cross reference a part number to a NSN. FLIS training is available on the web at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/training/crslogrun.asp.
6. Federal Logistics Datat on Mobile Media (FEDLOG
FED LOG is a CD-ROM or DVD tool to retrieve management, part/reference number, supplier, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE), freight, Interchangeability and Substitutability (I and S) and characteristics information recorded against National Stock Numbers (NSN). FED LOG also provides service unique data for additional search capabilities.
7. HAZARDOUS MATERIAL INFORMATION RESOURCE SYSTEM (HMIRS)
HMIRS is the repository for the MSDS assigned to a hazardous item. HMIRS is used to process and capture the HCC and related information necessary to properly receive, stow, care for the material in storage, pack, and ship HAZMAT. HMIRS has inquiry capabilities when hazardous information is missing at the point of receipt or issue to obtain required information to complete the processing. HMIRS is used to obtain MSDS and OSHA labels. Users may register for and access HMIRS via the Internet at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/hmirs/default.asp.
8. Hazardous Material Management System (HMMS)
Web-based system that provides cradle-to-grave tracking, management and reporting capabilities for hazardous materials and waste.
9. QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INTEGRATION TOOL (qmsit)
QMSIT is a real-time, web-based, relational database application that facilitates an organization’s ability to implement post-competition quality assurance responsibilities to ensure the service provider is providing quality products and services. QMSIT is designed to help support the implementation of a quality management surveillance program that identifies requirements, develops schedules, defines surveillance methodologies, documents results, supports decision-making and monitors outcomes. QMSIT provides management with detailed data analysis, corrective action, and performance improvement reporting requirements. Patented features such as the Surveillance Action Selection Tool (SAST), the Surveillance Frequency Selection Tool (SFST), and the Surveillance Method Selection Tool (SMST) make QMSIT the ultimate and most unique performance accountability software. Designed to ease the burden of contract oversight and performance visibility, QMSIT is the ultimate software solution when accountability and transparency matter. Additionally, QMSIT provides a SP-Workflow module where the Government conducts the surveillance and sends the results to the SP using QMSIT. Additional information on this COTS is available at http://www.thinkquality.com/quality_software.php.
10. web supply discrepancy reports (websdr)
WebSDR supports very detailed discrepancy codes to encourage better understanding of the discrepant condition and follow-up analysis and feeds the SIT SDR program. Access to WebSDR may be obtained by completing an online SAAR at https://www.daas.dla.mil/daashome.
11. WIDE AREA WORKFLOW - RECEIPTS AND ACCEPTANCE (WAWF-RA)
WAWF-RA allows Receiving Reports for New Procurement material to be viewed and printed in the event that a hard copy DD Form 250 does not accompany receipted material. WAWF-RA interfaces with DSS to perform electronic invoicing and acceptance on DoD contracts then forwards the information to DFAS for payment.
12. Web Requisitioning (WEBREQ)
Transaction Services Web product that provides customers a means to input materiel requisitions, cancellations, follow-ups, modifications, and Materiel Obligation Validation (MOV) documents either interactively or input via an ASCII file. WEBREQ also provides status and response documents back to the user.
