Subject Description Responses
1 SOW General Can the water supply for the work on the Island be obtained directly from the park water supply? If not, and we need to bring in water from the outside – please indicate who we should contact to establish water availability and cost.
Yes. Water needed for the construction can be obtained from the two water creeks that feed the Ilu creek toward the hill site. Though, the Contractor shall not take water directly from the treated water source that feeds the Admin area of El Poblado. Also, the contractor must have a contingency plan in order to store water during the performance of this project (ex: dry seasons, etc). The contractor must be able to easily store water during the dry season by having storage water tanks with a capacity of approximately 1,000 – 2,000 Lts in the construction location. This was part of 1st set of Q&As, question #9.
2 Park Regulations Housing Is it possible to setup a temporary campsite at the tower location? Setting up a temporary lodging camp in Cerro Trinidad is not allowed based on PNN’s environmental policies. Sanitary facilities at the project site is permitted, however the Contractor shall clean the site and the island from any solid and liquid waste resulting from the cosntruction and must be treated outside the island since this material can eventually contaminate the Park. This was part of 1st set of Q&As, question 30.
3 Park Regulations General During the site visit we checked that the access to the tower’s construction point is only pedestrian, and it is required to perform some affections to this in order to have enough space to transport bigger materials. This procedure will require permits and/or licenses which must be performed by the contractor? Or the Embassy or COLNAV will do this? In addition is there a specification to perform this kind of affections in this area?
Construction materials and minor equipment pieces that do not exceed a width between 1.00 m. – 1.50 m. can be transported using the exiting pathway to the top of the Trinidad Hill and the contractor shall comply with the requirements set on the Environmental Impact Survey (PMA) and SOW. The Contractor shall take into account that under no circumstances they are allowed to cut or trim any trees or vegetation along the pathway. This was part of 1st set of Q&As, question #32.
4 Park Regulations Lodging and Meals Given the controlled access of Gorgona Isla, will the Government clarify the process for requesting lodging and access from the National Natural Park?
In order to gain access to the Park, each person will need an approved photo or official identification. The Contractor shall follow the procedures for Lodging and Meals stated by the Park Operator once contract is awarded, taking into account that the approximate daily value per person for Lodging and Meals is between COP $50,000 and COP $150,000. This was part of 1st set of Q&As, question #39.

7 Section C: SOW Specifications & Drawings
Discussion. Q&A # 45 states that this contract is for construction only, but paragraph 1.03.01 of the Statement of Work (SOW) states that “the contractor shall confirm the engineering design, calculation, and shop drawings for the metallic crane, taking into account technical specifications.”
Question. Will the Government please provide the engineering design calculation for the metallic crane for radar uplifting?

Potential contractor shall follow drawing S- 003 of the technical package for the metallic crane for radar uplifting.
