About this file
This is a federal contracting certificate form (FAR 52.225-2) that requires offerors to certify the domestic content status of end products being proposed for government procurement.
The offeror must certify that all end products are domestic end products unless specifically listed as foreign products in the form. For any foreign end products manufactured in the United States that do not consist wholly or predominantly of iron or steel, the offeror must indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content, with the exception of commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items. If domestic content percentage is unknown, the offeror should select "no." The form requires separate identification of line item numbers for domestic end products containing critical components as defined in FAR 25.105. The form provides two tables for completion: one for listing foreign end products with their country of origin and domestic content threshold status, and another for listing domestic end products containing critical components. The government will evaluate offers in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 25 policies and procedures regarding Buy American requirements.
