About this file
The document is a Buy American Certificate (52.225-2, October 2022 version), which requires offerors to certify the origin and domestic content of end products. The certificate mandates that offerors:
- Identify each end product as either a domestic end product or a foreign end product, specifying the country of origin for foreign items. 2) Indicate whether foreign end products exceed 55% domestic content, except for commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items. 3) Separately list domestic end products containing critical components. The government will evaluate offers according to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 25 policies, which focus on promoting the use of domestic products and components in federal procurement.
