About this file

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) document is issued by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) in California for the procurement of prescription safety eyewear services on an as-needed basis. OCTA seeks authorized firms to provide prescription safety eyewear with no guaranteed usage under a five-year contract term extending from December 1, 2025, through November 30, 2030. The RFQ specifies that qualified vendors must be authorized to dispense prescription safety eyewear and will be required to fulfill orders as requested by OCTA throughout the contract period. The document outlines the submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and terms under which vendors will be selected to provide these services.

The total budgeted amount for this five-year contract is $26,250, with no guaranteed minimum purchase requirement, meaning actual expenditures may vary based on OCTA's operational needs. Qualified vendors must demonstrate authorization to provide prescription safety eyewear and meet specified quality and compliance standards. The contract represents a non-exclusive arrangement where OCTA retains the right to procure from authorized suppliers as demand arises. Payment and performance terms, insurance requirements, and all applicable state and local regulations governing the procurement process are detailed within the RFQ document to ensure vendor compliance and protection of both parties' interests.
