About this file
The document is an informational flyer for the Survivor Investment Partnership (SIP) grant opportunity in the state of Oregon. The SIP brings together the Nine Tribes of Oregon, culturally specific domestic violence and sexual assault organizations, and co-located advocacy agencies to increase accessibility of services and financial support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault from Tribal, Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and historically marginalized communities. The grant will provide up to $544,000 in funding to cover direct support services, staffing, administrative costs, and other expenses. The application window opens on March 29, 2023, with an informational webinar on April 7th and a closing date of April 26, 2023. All funds will be disbursed to the awardees by June 30, 2023. The grant opportunity is focused on the jurisdictions of Marion County and the City of Salem.
The grant funding is designed to increase autonomy and resources for providers, as well as reach underserved populations through organizations that have deep connections to their communities. The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) will be administering the SIP grant and disbursing the funds to up to eight culturally specific organizations that are Qualified Victims Services Programs and provide culturally responsive services.
