Request for Proposal S-10000-00005295 Question and Answer April 24, 2023

Question:(FUNDING SPEND DOWN) I understand the funding is meant for the 21-23 biennium but have until June 30, 2024; about a one-year timeframe, to spend it. I know the funding is intended to support 2 FTE; however, since it is two years' worth of funding, are we able to pay for more than 2 FTE in order to try and spend down the funds?
Answer:The initial funds are flexible and allowed to be used for startup or infrastructure costs, as the 21-23 biennium is nearing its deadline. Future disbursements, provided the Governor signs the budget, will also allow for 2 FTE. If you hire more than 2 FTE to spend down the 21-23 funds, you will need to adjust to accommodate future funds.
