About this file
This Request for Bid (RFB) Special Provisions document is for the City of Oklahoma City, specifically its Animal Welfare Division, seeking a pricing agreement for a one-step disinfectant and sanitizer used for cleaning and maintaining animal kennels. The solicitation (BID25311) requires a disinfectant product that can clean, disinfect, and sanitize in a single step, with specific requirements including being non-corrosive, bleach-free, and safe for use around animals. The City reserves the right to request product demonstrations prior to award and encourages vendors to submit pricing through an electronic bidding system, with delivery to be made to the Animal Welfare Division located at 2811 S.E. 29th Street, Oklahoma City.
The bid includes comprehensive insurance requirements for vendors, mandating various types of coverage including worker's compensation, general liability, and automobile liability insurance. Vendors must provide certificates of insurance from companies authorized to do business in Oklahoma, with the City named as an additional insured. The warranty provisions require that all bid items be free from defects, conform to specifications, and meet manufacturer warranties. Bidders must submit their warranty documentation with their bid and are solely responsible for ensuring product quality, even if they are not the original manufacturer. The contract allows the City discretion in remedy selection if products do not meet warranty standards.
