About this file

This document is a Request for Bid (RFB) for Traffic Control and Safety Equipment issued by a City entity, designated as RFB.SP.VI.2025. The bid solicits pricing agreements for a comprehensive range of traffic control, safety units, parts, supplies, and equipment to be used for repairing traffic signals and ensuring roadway and work zone safety. The contract will cover an extensive list of product categories including barricades, traffic cones, component parts, wire, battery backup systems, detection equipment, signal accessories, painting supplies, traffic signs, work zone safety items, and numerous other related materials. Bidders are expected to provide a firm, consistent percentage discount throughout the contract term, which will remain valid during potential renewal periods.

The pricing agreement allows for flexibility in product lines, permitting vendors to add new products or replace existing lines while maintaining the original discount structure. Vendors must guarantee that all materials conform to manufacturer specifications and perform their intended functions. The bid emphasizes that the stated discount represents a minimum, and vendors may offer greater discounts based on order specifics. Additional terms include provisions for volume discounts, manufacturer warranties, website pricing, and the requirement for bidders to submit detailed pricing information such as catalogs, pricelists, and potential website URLs with applicable discount rates. Federal mandated charges and cost recovery fees are permissible only if a comprehensive list of fees is included with the bid submission.
