About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for Request for Proposal S-10000-00012342, issued by the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) for Refugee Health Promotion Services. The RFP seeks to provide health-related services for refugees and Federal Office of Refugee Resettlement eligible populations, focusing on increasing health literacy, coordinating healthcare, and organizing wellness groups. The proposal aims to promote health and well-being through comprehensive support services.

The Q&A document addresses two key points of inquiry: federal funding stability and subcontracting parameters. Regarding funding, ODHS reports no current communication from federal partners indicating potential funding interruptions, despite concerns about funding freezes at the Federal Office of Refugee Resettlement. For subcontracting, ODHS indicates no specific budget caps, allowing proposers flexibility in determining service delivery methods and geographic reach. The contract's funding originates from federal sources, specifically the Office of Refugee Resettlement, with ODHS maintaining confidence in continued financial support for the proposed services.
