1.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This Design Build Contract will provide the following:
1. Site Visit: will include a meeting with the Contracting Officer and the Customer.
a. Conduct structure-to-electrolyte profiles as necessary (locations to be determined on site, it appears this will require a small boat to access piles)
b. Gather water depth information as necessary
c. Verify bulkhead continuity (end to end)
d. Take water samples for resistivity testing (required for design calculations)
2. Provide Basis of Design and Design Calculations for proposed cathodic protection system
3. Technical specifications for materials and installation
4. AutoCAD layout drawings of anodes with sizing, type, quantity and locations
5. General Installation Details
SMALL PROJECT TEMPLATE - PART 3 STATEMENT OF WORK / PROJECT PROGRAM - Page 2
Boat schedule for construction window: Date may vary dependent on emergent repairs or delays of ongoing work at the dry-dock: Contractor shall base their work on this schedule: Pier is tentatively to be turned over to the contractor by November, 1 2021.
Berth shift to pier 15S: Week of 18 October 2021
Docking: 30 November 2021
Undocking: 26 April 2022
Berth shift back to Museum Site: Late May/Early June 2022
Deliverables:
1. A detailed engineering report (Three submissions: 35%, Prefinal and Final) Which will include:
• Design Analysis (Calculations, anode sizing, and number required for selected design)
• Drawings
