The project involves demolishing portions of the existing pier and constructing extensions, with options for additional work including installation of a portal crane, improvements to a small boat harbor, upland paving and foundations, an emergency generator, and a pure water distribution system. Bids are requested for a base price to complete the pier extension excluding the optional work. Firm fixed prices are also required for each optional line item, which the Navy may choose to award within 30 days of contract award. The solicitation number is N4425519R0002 and was issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. The response due date and award date are not provided. Pricing terms require the performance bond to cover 100% of the aggregate amount of all line items.
