About this file
This is a Continuation Sheet – Amendment 008 to a Naval construction contract for the Q1075 SOF Operations Building 368 Addition at Building 368. The amendment, dated 4 March 2026, modifies drawings and specifications for this project under eProjects Work Order Number 1625040 and Construction Contract Number N4008524F6462.
The amendment revises multiple drawing sections by removing references to walk-in cooler/fridge protection and condensing unit relocation requirements that were previously scattered across phasing notes, demolition plans, duct plans, piping plans, and power plans. It adds new general notes requiring the contractor to maintain temporary HVAC systems with a 24-hour response time to trouble calls on both first and second floor phasing plans. The amendment also removes a reference to as-built sprinkler drawings availability from the fire protection legend. In the specifications, Section 01 14 00 Work Restrictions is revised to remove the requirement that the walk-in cooler remain operational throughout construction and to add new phasing requirements. The phasing schedule establishes that Phases 1 and 2 shall be completed concurrently with a combined baseline of 600 days from award, Phase 3 with 270 calendar days from Phase 2 activity movement, and Phase 4 with 270 calendar days from Phase 3 activity movement, for a total construction duration of 1,200 calendar days including activity movements. The contractor must order long lead-time mechanical and electrical equipment within 60 days of award. A new payment schedule provision allows the Government to provide 20 percent of equipment cost upon contractor release of Phase 1 long lead HVAC and electrical equipment, contingent upon submitting approved purchase orders and manufacturer acceptance documentation to the Contracting Officer.
