AMENDMENT 0007

This amendment includes the following;

Revised Responses to submitted PPI’s.

PPI Q&A

Q.2 Can the government provide a total count of initiating and notification devices associated with each system in order to determine the manpower and time needed to perform the required inspections based on the size and complexity of the system? This will assist in generating a more precise and competitive pricing. Contractors (other than the incumbent) bidding on this opportunity would be at a disadvantage. For example, a single story 1500 sq ft building would need significantly less manpower to inspect a system as opposed to a building with over 100,000 sq.

ft.

A.2 (UPDATED VIA AMENDMENT 0007) Attachment J-1502000-03 provides the building type (i.e. Child Care Center, Fire Station, Galley, etc...) that describes the occupancy classification. The inventory information along with the contractor’s experience and the contractor’s understanding of the references (NFPA and IBC) can be used to determine pricing based upon the occupancy classification.

Q.18 Can the PM, SSHO, and QC be the same person?

A.18 (UPDATED VIA AMENDMENT 0007) The requirements allows the contractor to only dual hat the Project Manager (PM) or the Quality Manager (QM) with the Site Safety Heath Officer (SSHO) position.
