The phasing Plan is very specific concerning
Phase 1A. It states “Additionally work in
Occupational a Health Rooms 1133, 1134, 1135, 1136, 1138, 1167, 1168, and 1169 shall be scheduled such that no more than 3 rooms are under Construction during regular working hours at the same time”. There is VAT being removed.
A new ceiling grid and tile is being installed. New lights are being installed. The problem is that new ductwork branches off new ductwork mains that serve other phases. This will prevent the rooms from being completed until new Duct is installed in other areas. What is the designers intent?
The intent for construction in the rooms listed is that no more than three of the rooms are unable to be used for their intended purpose at one time. Work may occur simultaneously on each of these rooms provided that it is returned to a usable state prior to the next occurrence of regular business hours.
For example, it would be acceptable to complete the ductwork modifications to all of these spaces during one "down" time (either outside regular business hours or during a planned and accepted outage) and then complete the remaining work during regular working hours in groups of three rooms at one time.
