The power capacity required for the TM system is about 4.8kVA (or 4363 Watts), operating on 115VAC, 60 Hz. Pedestal antenna in the nose of the aircraft. The specifications for GFP systems will be provided.
| 3 |
| For the Air Force Weapon Telemetry/Flight Termination requirement, will there be any GFP? |
| a. | Will the Tomahawk equipment satisfy the requirement, or is a different system needed and required to be procured and installed by the contractor? |
| b. | If so, are there additional specifications available to design the system for optimum performance? |
Air Force TM and FTS is no longer a requirement in this solicitation and has been removed from the PWS.
| 4 |

| Target launch and carriage is no longer a requirement in this solicitation and has been removed from the PWS. |
| 5 |
| What is the minimum number / quantity of aircraft required to be required simultaneously under this contract, i.e. five (5) or can some of the aircraft be co-utilized between the sites? |
| Two (2) simultaneous Range Clearing aircraft with one having telemetry or two (2) Range Clearing and one (1) Telemetry. |
| 6 | |

| What are the projected number of BQM-74 missions per year or the number flown per year over the past five (5) years? | |
| a. | How many of the above missions carried 3 or more BQM-34’s per flight/mission? |
| Target launch and carriage is no longer a requirement in this solicitation and has been removed from the PWS. |

| 9 |
| What are the projected number of annual flight hours for each type of mission, i.e. Range Clearing (PWS 3.1.1), PMSR (PWS 3.1.3), Telemetry Tomahawk (PWS 3.2.1), Air Force Weapon Telemetry/Flight Termination (PWS 3.3.1), and Airborne Target Launch (PWS 3.4.1)? |

| 12 |
| Ref PWS paragraph 3.7 – Please provide a detailed description for the typical deployment schedule for each type / location of mission, i.e. average number of deployments per year, average number of deployment days per deployment, etc. Note: Since there will not separate CLINs incorporated in this solicitation for travel and/or aircrew non-flying status, nor aircraft daily rates, there will be no incentive for the Government to every release the aircraft once deployed nor to ferry the aircraft back to its home base. Based on the Government’s abuse of the above on at least one other CAS contract, conscientious bidders would have to assume that the aircraft would remain deployed and thus would require the contractor to budget/bid the costs to establish operations/pilots and maintenance facilities at each of the three OPAREAS sited for this contract which will cost the Government much more than if the Government included separate CLINs for the travel reimbursements, non-flying &/or aircraft daily rates as has traditionally been done for CAS contracts for the past 38 years. Furthermore, based on the above the aircraft (especially the PMRF aircraft) effectively become exclusive use/lease to the Government since it is likely that the Government will never pay the contractor to ferry their aircraft back to their home base. |
| The expected travel will be specified in the final solicitation. |
There will be a separate Ferry CLIN.
The CLIN structure is being restructured and will be specified in the final solicitation.
| 13 |
