About this file
This is an institutional capabilities and characteristics questionnaire form for institutions seeking to participate in the U.S. Navy College Consortium (USNCC).
The form requires responding institutions to provide detailed information across two main sections. The Institutional Characteristics section requests baseline data including the level of degree offerings (certificates, associate's, bachelor's, etc.), institutional control and affiliation, current enrollment figures for full-time and part-time students, accreditation status with dates and accrediting body contact information, and calendar system. For institutions that are part of multi-institution systems or districts, the form requires specification of whether academic services and operations are centrally supported, whether a single college coordinates programmatic activities, or whether the model is decentralized. The Institutional Capabilities section assesses baseline capabilities across modality, admission policies, laboratory delivery methods, naval studies course articulation, four-year transfer pathways, consortium agreement participation readiness, and technology infrastructure (SFTP capability, CSV file export, API functionality). General capabilities questions address program scalability, course section availability year-round, multiple program start dates per year, degree customization capability, certificate embedding and stand-alone options, professional accreditation status, industry certifications, military service credit via Joint Services Transcript (JST), ACE credit recommendations, digital instructional materials availability, material cost inclusion in tuition, dedicated student support staff, data system dependencies, and executive-level attestation of technology requirement review. All responses require brief explanations.
