Question: Can you please verify if it is acceptable that the manufacturing sample MUST be Postmarked by the closing date of July 29, 12:00 OR if it should be received at the address in L.2.2 no later than July 29, 12:00. Would a manufacturing sample that is postmarked but not yet received be acceptable? If so, would Monday August 1st, 12:00 be an acceptable cutoff period for receipt of properly postmarked manufacturing sample submissions?
Answer: The sample must be postmarked by 29 July 2022 at 1200 PM (noon) which is the closing date of the solicitation.
Question: Also, In the L.2.2 Note: section referenced above, it mentions that if we want to receive the manufacturing sample back after source selection and debriefs conclude that it will be returned at the Offeror’s expense. How should we notify you of our intent to have it returned and how should we prepare for return of the manufacturing sample? Should we include a Prepaid label and shipping container sent with the item or should we coordinate details at a later date?
Answer: If you provide a prepaid label and shipping container, we know to ship the manufacturing sample back to the vendor.
Question: Upon award of the MAC IDIQ, will we receive authorization or instructions on how to sign up for Seaport-o portal access if we currently do not have access?
Answer: The Government will provide guidance to each awardee after a contract is awarded.
