| 152 | 4/19/22 | RFP | N/A | Section L, II.A.1 | The government has extended the proposal due date by 2 weeks to 9 May 22, which is helpful in developing a more complete and accurate proposal. However, as previously submitted, the LASSEN DMP solicitation is a sizable and complex work package that requires considerable estimating, subcontracting, and resources planning. This same level of complexity has been noted by the subcontractors, many of which have requested significant extensions to develop their proposals. Shortened timelines result in less accuracy and greater risk Considering the volume and complexity of the work scope, the delays encountered with obtaining references, and the benefit of allowing key subcontractors to participate in this work, the contractor requests the proposal due date be extended to June 3, 2022, or further if the government anticipates any significant amendments to the solicitation. | Proposal due date remains unchanged. |
