About this file

This solicitation seeks proposals for the USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7) and USS MITSCHER (DDG 57) Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA) to be held in 2022. The Naval Sea Systems Command will execute maintenance, modernization, and repair of both vessels. Offerors must have capable facilities including a pier for the applicable ship class and resources to complete coordination and integration of ship maintenance, repair, and modernization. The solicitation does not include a small business set-aside due to the complexity, magnitude, and duration of the requirement. Interested parties must register in the System for Award Management and monitor beta.SAM.gov for solicitation and amendment releases. The solicitation includes specifications, pricing workbooks, quality assurance plans, and other attachments for both ships but does not include the full work packages. The Navy aims to make two separate awards by October 2021 for work to begin in January 2022 on both vessels.

Please delete para 3.8 from 130-11-005 since 631-13-006 covers this preservation and confirm that 631-13-006 covers removal of all the Batterboards (wingwall) and synthetic decking.Deleted paragraph 3.8 from 130-11-005 and concur 631-13-006 is to remove all batter boards and deck sheathing.
