About this file
This document provides details on a draft request for proposal for a multi-engine training system aircraft procurement. The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking industry feedback on the draft RFP through October 18, 2021. While remanufactured aircraft were previously considered, the government has determined only new aircraft will meet its needs based on the intended training usage through 2055 and required delivery schedule. The government plans to hold a pre-solicitation conference the week of November 1, 2021 to discuss the procurement, which aims to facilitate student naval aviator training. Interested parties should direct any questions to the specified Navy contacts.
