About this file
This document contains a draft request for proposal for a multi-engine training system aircraft procurement. The Navy seeks to procure a new aircraft to facilitate student naval aviator training through 2055. Interested offerors may submit comments on the draft RFP by 18 October 2021. The Navy will hold an in-person pre-solicitation conference the week of 1 November 2021 to address the aircraft requirement. Only new aircraft will be considered for award, as reconditioned or remanufactured options do not meet the Navy's needs for longevity and delivery schedule. The contracting officer is Mr. Blake Strickland, with questions to be directed to Ms. Shannon Bromiley.
